 woah epic LOL

I have a wide angle silver one, some random brand i bought in hong kong. I love it, drove with it both in stock height and lowered, and I find that i never really had a problem with headlight glare... but then noones really driven behind me with their high beams on.
A massive one is not needed.. . i think mines only 270-280mm and i can see everything thats needed (left blind spot - ur head blocks the right blind spot anyway -- not sure about the above setup tho rofl). and yeah can confirm a previous post that u can see ur own reflection or a part of it depending on how u angle the mirror, but u'll get used to that soon enough.

the whole purpose of a broadway mirror is to have a wide angle view... a larger mirror alone won't do that, it needs to be convexed...

and that wink mirror looks like shet

Hate them. Nearly ran someone off the road when I hired a ute with one on the left door. They looked a hundred mtrs back when in fact were level with the tray. Dangerous.

That's not a design fault, it's user error You'll get used to them after 10 minutes.

I'm of the opinion that anything that's deceptive has no place on a motor vehicle. They're as bad (actually worse)than a speedo that's out by 20kph or a temp guage that doesn't indicate when the engines boiling ( which most don't), or indicators that have been wired up wrong so they show others that you're turning left when in fact you're going right. (don't say that can't happen, have seen it in my long driving experience) Maybe I'm not young enough to know everything, so I apologise for that and bow to your greater wisdom

I believe you can still access the dimmer lever on the OEM mirror even when this mirror is fitted. These mirrors have been available in the market for decades, lots of people use them worldwide.

Hey look, don't use them if you don't want to, but I tell you one thing, I like having an advantage in the drivers seat when I'm driving, and these wide mirrors give a definite advantage over standard small mirrors.

You're right on most counts there we've always been taught not to judge distances in the mirrors. they even say on them 'objects in mirrors are closer than they appear'

i would never trust anything except my own eyes when it comes to depth perception
