just averaging a very mediocre 250ks out of 30l of 98 mobil or caltex. Around town ofcourse.
Anything apart from usual servicing that drastically alters a k20s mileage ? Bad fuel filter etc ?

yeah bad fuel, use to only get 260km/30 cause had old engine oil and a indonesian filter and never dared to use up the reserve fuel. problem fixed oem filter and angloil got me like first run aorund town for over a week was about 380km now its averaging 330-360km. filling it like 35l so im guessing theres 10litres as reserve? try bp/shell instead? shop at coles as an incentive to get 4cs off cause im asian

caltex 380<
anything else just isnt the right thing to do, i filled 2 tanks of freedom 98 octane e10 cause my friend told me its sooo good on his s7 rx7, i had fuel problems after a few days after the 2nd tank cause it picked up so much shit in the filter, took out the filter cleaned it up then put it back in and was all sweet, 2 weeks later i heard his 13b motor died LOL, his mech told him it was the fuel

I'd be using some clear polycarbonate sheets for moon roof and use some balsa wood sticks for some X bracing!

Castrol Edge 0W40 is also very good for our car, Honda oil filter and Honda gear box oil.

but George you do hwy driving aswell right? if its just suburban driving you get less mileage on the tank?
