How the Bush beast sits atm until I get it corner balanced in a couple of weeks
thanks for the pic Tim!
-
brett mate looks like the bat needs a clean
sits nice like it
-
Thanks Frankie,me too,I really dig how it sits and I'm very happy about that.what I mean is I stoked I don't feel the need to 'slam' it with all the po po out and about targeting dumped cars.
I gotta clean her yes
After I get it corner balanced,so it will be sitting where it stays,I'll get some better shots then.
Had such a fun drive yesterday, car feels so different/better!!
-
It's already heaps low looking anyway, the Civic isn't a high/big car. Looks nice mate, as long as it feels better to drive then it's all worth it hey.
-
Yeah exactly! There's a big change there, bloody brilliant.I'm suprised a car can be so firm yet comfortable,I thought that only came with $3k shocks...
-
what shock did you end up getting havent been folowing religously

Hey Brett give us an update now you have had the coils for a while, what's your thoughts on them now? Still good? Any issues slowly appearing?
-
Yeah good one Troy.
Been thinking a lot...lol
I've lowered the car just once since installing,so it sits lower than the pic above.I have learnt the trick is to get your LCA's,both front and rear perfectly flat, this is 'perfect alignment'.
That's what I need to do now, fine tune it.
I have been playing around with the damper and have eliminated a lot of the understeer but not all and that's what I want to do.
I can get the LCA's perfectly flat with some time by taking a photo on flat ground of the front and rear underneath including the LCA's,put it in photoshop and put a straight line acroos it,figure out if I need to go higher or lower and make the adjustment.
And after I do that I can further play with the damper settings to eliminate understeer, get it to the best I can then get a proper wheel alignment.
OR I can corner weight the car.
But say I set it up as 60/40 weight ditribution front to rear or whatever,is that the answer ya know?..
It isn't.The perfect balance i.e. eliminating under/oversteer can only be worked out by trial and error/time in the seat/tweaking things yourself/fine tuning.
I 'may' need these but I don't think so.

U would buy these if U wanted to keep the lowered look and have your LCA's sitting flat,if U need them.Understand?
hehehe suspension...

Beeza you want mugen ferio rear wing for your car? lol
-
LOL Tai!
I was happy to see U had posted,I was 'Sweet, some good insight into what is best to do here'
But what do U think about what I wrote above:
'The perfect balance i.e. eliminating under/oversteer can only be worked out by trial and error/time in the seat/tweaking things yourself/fine tuning.'
See,I thought I could get my car corner balanced and done!
But,it ain't that easy (offcoarse) is it?
It's like this no?:
'eliminating under/oversteer can only be worked out by trial and error/time in the seat/tweaking things yourself/fine tuning'
