I personally wouldn't run it without a fuse.

Run a fuse cause if it shorts out you will have big problems

nah. dont worry just run it. and if so... if anything worse to worse your whole car will be on flames

i.e dont run it if you dont want your car in flames

your amp will have its own fuse in it... you will be fine until you can source one and put a main fuse inline
    - not removed by choice! - waiting for the next update to the saga

make sure you have he fuse close to the battery, not close to the amp. cause the fuse will protect the more of the cable if its close to the supply

you should be fine for now..

but when you can (preferably sooner rather than later) use a fuse between the batt and amp, and preferably within 45cm of the battery too.

atm if your unprotected power wire constantly rubs against sharp metal itll eventually rub thru the casing & down to the live wire, then you'll have fray wires and a short circuit. thats when the ENTIRE, what? 5-6-7m length of wiring is a fire hazard risk.

basically, just use a fuse for protection from any potential risk. better safe than sorry.

zilli, the amps fuse is there to protect itself but not the wire
