eg6 dash into eg5?

could i put the eg6 dash into my eg sedan with no troubles? is is plug and play with the climate control ect?

yeah it's easy all EG dashes are interchangeable sedan or hatch.
JDM climate unit..
nice..amber lighting and so on

you can just change the guage cluster to the JDM amber lighted ones, change the climate control and other gadgets. its easier then changin the entire dash.

But if you still want to change the dash. Might aswell put in a Integra dash or a Del Sol dash. They look 20 million times better /sportier then the ugly EG dash.

yeah but the door trim doesnt line up.... i just want the eg dash....

man dont bother with all that effort of removing and re-installing the EG dash !!!

teggy dash etc in EG is a waste of time IMO, but can look OK.

I agree with whoever said just swap the guage cluster and climate controll.. but he climate controll wont work unless you swap out the WHOLE under-dash heater/fan (etc) system. the AUS heater/fan controlls are cable operated but the JDM Climate controll is electronically (servo) operated.

it is possible to swap over the black face and different icons and re-use your existing heater/fan system with no loss of functionality, but will look identical to the CC unit.

nah I completely disagree.. It's FUNCTIONAL.. not the prettiest, but everything is in perfect ergonomic position etc. it is clean and flowwing accross the windscreen without any gimicky smoothed out bumps and stuff.

one thing tho, the vents aren't too durable HAHAH

but the dude who started the thread asked about swapping EG5 dash for EG6...

In answer to the following *keeps on topic*

An EG dash is exactly the same to bolt in , BUT climate control ill not work As you need the EG6 ECU to control this feature. Other small electrical items such as bumper pole, TCS etc need the JDM ECU.

so even if i swap every single thing from the eg6 dash in, it still wont work until i get the jdm ecu....
