    so the oe headers restrict flow? can you get like other headers and still use th oe cat? eg toda headers or whatever?

    i dunno, ive heard that jdm headers arent to bad, first mods u would do are intake then catback then headers

    yeap first mod definately the intake u will definately feel the difference !

    dont you only gain 2-3kw atw with aftermarket headers? since the oe headers is already efficient 4-2-1 compared to the dc5r 4-1?

    Quick question, is the engine check light suppose to come on before we start the engine? I noticed mine never comes on before ignition which seemed strange. I have a feeling my engine check light has failed. If was to be the case, does anyone know how to replace the engine check light bulb?

    Dude! I gained 5kw from Adrian installing nothing more than a DC5 intake tube..

    118kw stock 122kw after

    yeah you can, i got TODA headers and i change to stock exhaust from time to time

    Yea that's what I thought which is why I found it strange.

    So I highly suspect the check light has been blown or has been tampered with prior to my purchase of the car.

    To make matters more frustrating for me, I've plugged in my Greddy infometer and it tells me I got one 1 error code ( but doesn't state what it is). The infometer couldn't show signal for the o2 sensor and give af ratio. From I am also speculating that it is probably my O2 sensor that has failed. I remember p3p5y posted several hundred of pages back on this thread that he had the engine check light problem and it also came down to his primary o2 sensor.

    I'll be contacting my mechanic to see if he can find what the problem is.
