Spotted an EP3 parked during after-hours at UNSW upper-campus carpark yesterday.

Looks stock but lowered ride height. Anyone here?

whats the best intake you'd recommend?

also out of all the EP3s i test drove the one i bought is the only one that i saw have the mugen tag in bedded in the dash near the gearbox..

most people would say gruppeM. that would most likely be just some aftermarkter mugen logo bling unless yours was ep3 built by mugen themselves

dude i think it was because it's not a sticker it's built in the dash solid like engraved.. I flipped when i saw it and i think the car was chipped. when i test drove it first time it hit 110 before it red lined the guy was like "Faaarrkk now i know why you want one of these.." i flipped too but it took him over a month to get it complied and once i did get it back it didn't go as hard.. i bet it had a mugen chip. I'm looking at getting it remapped but no1 can help due to mugen being hard to source and import when your in AUS.. not to mention expensive.. dam!

yeah most seem to have the gruppeM intake.. intake is first on my list.. hope Santa can help out :]

110 in 1st gear before redline? thats crazy
maybe it was demodded to comply or the fact that japan has higher octane fuel....i have no idea lol. maybe someone else has something to say

Undo the glove box and look at the damn ECU.

Mugen ECU is not for street use anyway. just get a Hondata when u have done I/H/E.

I dont know about doing anything to the exhaust.. I'm just getting into all this car talk I've been mostly a ball player and gamer all my life.. when you mention cat back does that mean moding up your exhaust right? if so all the modded EP3s i drove with after market exhausts were loud as hell.. annoyed the hell out of me and i couldn't hear the V-Tec screamm..

so your saying better save the money to get a better cat back for more KW?

I got a gruppe m, it left a hole in my arm. sound great though, injen wouldve given the same performance and all but i was too pussy to cut things. catback is exhaust to the cat converter, man you hear the vtec crossover with anything its not hard to notice anyways. Show us a picture of that mugen thing on the dash.
