I'd thought 0w40 or 10w40 for summer and 5w30 for winter.

the first number means the thickness when cold. a lower number for winter would probably be better so they flow quicker on start up. and you should warm up the car before you go hard.
the second number is when hot so i'd use a thinker oil in summer than winter.

cool.. thanks for clearing that up for me.. yeah i heard 5 minutes warm up before you use v-tec..
