na c what they do is get a socket 1 or 2 sizes bigger and hammer it on so u cant get it off then just undo it, a cop told us when my m8s wheels got stolen, he also told us that they use spark plugs 2 break windows cause they dont make any noise lol it was like he was telling us how to steal shit

if i really really wanted your wheels and you had lock nuts. i'd just jack your whole car and take my time taking your wheels off in my front yard.

do you mean a socket 1 or 2 sizes smaller? :s
either way. i'm not sure that that's the option they would go for when they are trying to steal wheels late at night from the front of your house/mates house etc.

instead of dumping the car, make it sooo high that the jack isnt able to support the height

na bigger becasue the lock nut has a differnt pattern it gets stuck and wont come off, ull need to throw it away but its would be easy at night, just get ur tshirt and put it over the nut before u hit it, it still makes noise but it makes alot less

If your really that paranoid you could get an alarm system like what my cousin has..
You stand within 1/2 a metre without the remote the alarm begins to go spastic.. Wheels have a tilt sensor and touch sensor so as soon as they're touched the car goes spastic and all doors automatically lock if they haven't already done so.
If they try to jump start the car, automatic kill switch and immoboliser goes off and car remains stationary & doors lock you inside and there's no way out unless you have the key. Windows are solid so they aren't exactly your normal glass windows lol.
Btw this is on a 1955 Ford Pickup Muscle Car. Car & Wheels are all chipped so they can be located with GPS. Wheels are factory original and without them the car is incomplete and basically worth bugger all.
The alarm with all the features was $2000 and has so far landed 2 people in jail... lol...
Cop's asked him if they could use his car as bait and he said no, don't blame him lol.

But yeah, if you wanna go EXTREME that's how far you can go...
This is how far you should go if your car is your investment as old cars or "vintage" cars return money.
