    could be the vehicle speed sensor!!! check the plug to see if the pins are farkd. exact same thing happened to me.. then vtec fell off. Changed the connector for it and then I could start scaring kids at bus stops again.

    hey guys thanks for all the help i forgot to report back, after trying 2 different speed sensors and the problem wasn't fixed I found out that the actual plug that sits on the gearbox was farked as Nickk mentioned.
    So if anyone has this problem make sure u check both the sensor and the plug!

    dent on the oil sump will affect the oil pressure hence vtec wont work.....
