I heard that its impossible to import a FD2. I tried my best but like Philip said you'll need to own it overseas for about a year before you can bring it over.. the FD2 looks awesome... such a shame we can't get it here..

there was a certain year S15 which could be import. the principle was similar to R35 GTR but slightly less harsh.

Nice... I'd love to drive one and feel the difference between the EP and Fd2..

two totally differant cars to drive as ive owned 2 EP3s before buying the FD2R,the EP3 was a great car but things have moved on, a EP3 wouldnt stand a chance of keeping with the FD2R on track or back road.

yeah I thought so.. I've seen clips of the FD2R racing s2000, integra and even skylines and it beat all of them on the track while the FD2R was all stock and the others had mods.. farkin awesome..

as some have mentioned above, you cannot. Reason being that even though its a type R and different seats etc, the chassis they consider to be similar and thus allowing import of a FD2 would put australian honda companies at risk of bankruptcy. To successfully bring it over, you have to prove you owned the car for a year, lived there for that time and with address where the car was parked. Also, i think there's a limit as to how much cars you can import over during a certain time period. Or, i believe in sydney or melbourne, you can rebuild it from chassis up and it can be deemed legal. Not sure on that so dont quote me on it. Maybe someone who lives locally there can give a heads up.

either you are a very good driver, or FD2R is very fast (or both lol).
