    Are original type r wheels powder coated?

    just wondering if anyone knows if dc2r rims are powder coated from factory?

    reason is im getting a mate to powder coat over original paint and can only if its powder, and cbf sand blasting.

    Sand blasting destroys the integrity of the rims to let you know so if you going sand them doing them via machine or behind.. Sandblasting is a big no no IMO

    They are more than likely to be painted on being a factory rim as it is a more durable coating. BTW your inbox is full.
