    Rotors

Hey guys, just wondering what aftermarket front rotors are S2000 owner's using?

Looked into DBA4000s and god they are hell expensive! Approx $400 per corner!! Seeing that they are same size as the 300mm DC5R/EP3R/FN2R rotors...the price is ridiculous...

Any cheaper options?? The reason why im asking is, im in the progress of a brembo conversion and for this i require the use of front s2000 rotors - i've purchased a set of EBC turbo groove rotors from the UK and they were relatively cheap ($380 delivered) but not sure if they will handle track abuse well...will test them and post a review.

If anyone has any other suggestions for reasonably priced rotors please let me know!

RDAs are cheap but are worse than OEM, can't handle abuse at all, would be a great cheap OEM replacement though...

But you didn't want to spend on dba so I reccomended something cheaper. My rda's lasted 3 trackdays before they cracked, and I go pretty hard on brakes. They outlasted my pads and for $200 you really can't go wrong.

$200 is actually pretty cheap...where are you guys getting them from for that price? Are they just hairline cracks or major cracks?

    Another Option

I was also looking at rotors recently, and noticed that it seems to be much cheaper to get them from the US (stupid really.. DBA rotors are made in AUS aren't they..) In any case..

I was looking at the DBA 4000's slotted.
the four rotors inc shipping to Brisbane was about $US 830. Given the exchange rate atm it seems a bargain.

    I was looking at horsepowerfreaks.com

Perhaps things have changed since, but we've had a couple of cracked DBA 4000 rotors in the past. Be careful.
