Get air suspension... i might get it soon... because my cars low and i need to plan how to get to one distinantion to the other and it sucks... westside melb has to many pot holes and un-even roads >.<
LOL. so here goes on digging another 2 year thread on top of 3 n 1/2 year.
I got Skunk2 Coilovers, they are stiff as! but it's good you can adjust them. When i first got it my ride was bumpy as hell.. felt like riding a cargo..
totally not comfortable but the handling was like 200% better then stock. Later on i did some readjustment so the ride can be abit more soft and
enjoyable, what i did was lessen the shocks so that the there's a good balance between the shocks and the springs. Before the shocks was at
it's highest, that's why the ride was so bumpy because the springs barely did anything, it was almost purely just shocks. Now it's alot more smoother
and softer on the road... Skunk2 is abit more for extremist.. haha but the handling oh wow... haahha and i dropped it pretty low so no body roll
ok guys lets get this going again.
im looking over all the comments on ozhonda about jazzs and lowering them.
i see that a lot of people have got teins super contact blah blah... but im all new to this.
i want to lower my jazz for the looks but also for a bit better handling and as you said, less body roll.
ouch, get some springs if its mainly for looks. people say you wear your shocks out faster if you just replace them with shocks but i haven't had any issues on any of my cars yet. (just me tho)
springs, you can get anywhere from 200-400 buck where as coilovers are 1k+ but handles a lot better
I lowered my jazz after owning 2 weeks. I got tein s tech. It cost 300 delivered from the states. Quite comfy and good handling. Looks awesome too. I think is an awesome spring
