yeah its hard to find parts and theres a slight chance you can go to a honda dealer and get them to call up headoffice to see if they can get it in for you from jdmland.

Yea. If it didn't involved cutting the original bumper, it would had been sold immediately.

out of curiosity...in regards to the gruppe m intake...any issues with being under powered with stock exhaust?
and how much lighter is the carbon fibre bonnet compared to stock? = /

its way lighter than oem, as for underpowered i dont know should of dynoed it before and i guess its just noise factor. only thing ive heard from the guys is that our headers is the weak link becuase it restricts alot of air flow.

For sure it is lighter.....but you can probably reduce the same amount of weight by going to the gym provided that you're not underweight to begin with.

I used to be fond of saving weight but I'm over it. I find the effect of saving weight is negligible unless drivers start stripping off a significant number of items. For circuit/racing use AND provided that the driver has sufficient skills , every grams counts. Street use, on the other hand, I think it's a placebo effect for a driver to say they feel the difference.

correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the carbon fibre bonnets a defect now since the end of the financial year?

ROFL! i reckon i can shave 5KG off the car then! prolly more than changing the bonnet. lol.
now...i'm thinking of changing to spoon n1 exhaust and piping first, but i'm thinking maybe gruppe m intake instead.
just worried about whether or not there's gonna be any "underpowered-ness"
spoon n1 exhaust coz i wanna wake everyone in the suburb up when i come home at 3am in the morning vtec-ing 1st n 2nd in my street lol.

yup, carbon fibre bonnets are illegal and 100% defect material.

not sure about gruppe m but when i got my Fujita CAI, i felt i lost a little bit low end. but once i fitted cat back, it gains more than what was lost.

the stock air box is really heavy and i'm sure gruppe m is a lot lighter.

I'm not sure if this would be the same with a gruppem on a ep3.

However, I changed to gruppem intake on my Jazz before doing catback and no loss could be felt. Some gains between mid and top. Overall it was the most satisfying mod I've done.

In terms of noise, the intake sounded better than when I changed the exhaust (spoon bpipe + j's racing 50RS). Not loud while driving normal but sounds great on WOT and for tunnel runs.
