I think from memroy EG used a manual shift control system and udes the PGMFI ECU to control the torque converter lockup, where the EK used an electric shift control system with a PCM

if this is the case witht he AT your looking at they are not compatible. You can tell by looking at the EG AT. it will only have two external solenoids, they are for the torque converter lockup, if the EK AT has four, then 2 are for the Torque converter and the other two are for shifting.

also ensure the EK AT is not a CVT trans,


if you find the EK AT only has two solenoids then you have a good change of interchanging them however then yuo have to ensure park/nuetral switches are the same connector and the shift cable will mate up.


no one really plays with AT these days so its hard to be 100% sure
