I can't push this further than "what my fathers mate" told me. It's exactly that , that my dads mate that works at caltex was mortified how much the mark up was and told me so.

Anyone care to run tests in a laboratory ???
are you 100% sure that the FEO oil and the Calibre are the same?
don't tell me i've been using that shit in my car...

as stated......its what ive "heard" - the coincidence that FEO and FEO ULTRA are manufactured by caltex , and that the same oils rated 10/30w and 5/30w come in as a budget oil at super cheap auto perhaps is just a coincidence.(perhaps surplus stock?)
To the eyes they appear to be the same. Its up to a lab test environment to really tell if they are truly one and the same tho !
I work at supercheap, I don't know if FEO is the same, but Calibre IS made by Caltex, it has the Caltex logo on the back, there is also Calibre Semi and Fully Synthetic available now. But to be honest I'd steer clear of any calibre products except the tools, there's a reason it's all cheap. lolz
