is it really ? i no of 2 people (females) pulled over for not indicating and getting warnings only. so go figure.. upto how good of a day theyre having.
also with regard to speeding 10kph over they wont literally pull you over on the spot but you will get a fine.
So you're telling me that depending on what kind of speed detecting technology in their car they will either pull you over or not? Weird...
Yeah I know, don't speed... I could have killed someone + speeding is dangerous etc. Obviously no excuse from a legal perspective anyway.
Well the M4 as I enter from strathfield (off parra road) it had a cop car sitting there but it has to account for one lane on its left and 2 lanes on the right so i don't know how it can do both, nor do i know which lane he was concentrating on nor do i know if there was anyone in the car...it was dark....
I read that the radar speed detectors were not allowed to operate on a road that is curved, only straights.
Ive heard the same that the speed camera cant get an accurate reading because your cars following a curve, never gave it much thought but that is possible? Not that id ever try that theory out lol

Yeah well my girlfriend told me they're not allowed to put cameras on the side of the road when you're driving downhill but I reckon she's wrong.
She's been pulled over twice in the 27 months we've been dating, both times for 'mild' speeding, and has been given a warning each time. But then she's a D cup and she pretended to cry the first time - I suppose it's up to the cop's discretion?
IMO the people who speed regularly/significantly, drag race in built-up/busy areas or just drive stupidly (like those people who pull up behind you at like 30km over the limit and pull alongside you at the last second) are the ones who should be chased down. Not the poor bloke who accidentally went 5km over the limit in a moment of absent-mindedness.
