contemplating on getting one as well, most parts of the dc5r are interchangeable aren't they, so direct bolt on for coilovers?

like theres enough aftermarket products out there for an ep3 so dont need to worry so much. parts are interchangeable though.

I am probably well placed to comment on 'contemplation' given i am new to honda's. I was lookign at ep3's, dc2r's, silvia's, skyline's and all the other 20k sports cars. I was drawn to the honda as i believe it is a better package. it drives fantastic and feels really well made. I suggest you take one for a spin and decide for yourself, i am glad i made the honda choice!
Oh nice! Glad to know you're enjoying it. I've still gotta sell my car so no rush atm and I'm happy to wait for the right one, hopefully in Brissy.

To touch on what stiggy said, coils, stud pattern, blah blah are all the same as the dc5r?

stud pattern is the same 5x114, i think majority of the k20 parts are the same except the throttle body on the ep3 is larger?

I'm actually contemplating a FD1 as well. Both interest me in terms of modding, however i'm leaning towards ep because I don't think the FD will excite me much haha. PLus I won't need to spend much to make it look good as it looks great already !

Might be biased lol but look wise, i think that the FD has such more potential and variety then the ep3. However, performance wise, the fd isnt going to match the ep3 even with decent mods lol

Yeah in terms of aesthetics I really like what the FD can do. But I just think performance wise won't really satisfy and better off spending that money on an EP. Still thoughts in process ha.
