you bought your car from a young asian guy? Takata green stock wheels sound like Mugen (he used to hang around here).
the best time to meet up would probably be at JDMST meets as i can't spare much time for cars becos of kids.

I have some just mounted under the rear seat. You must remember that once a car starts to be complied on a regular basis, they dont actually get complied properly like they should and shortcuts are taken. (eg not all the pieces thats meant to be there are there).

i'm looking at getting either:
skunk2

k-sport
megan racing

hi guys, quick question, not completly ep3 related, but im doing an install of a headunit on my ep3 and it has a gps reciever, it needs to sit on the dash, right underthe windscreen, i worked out there is enough space between the door and the car when closed to have it feed up, but because the dash is a little slippery, it doesnt stick with electrical tape, has anyone done something simmilar? any ideas? i was thinking dabs of hot glue gun...

Another suggestion is that you can attach it under the dash just above the head unit bracket inside using cable tie and double sided tape. This way it would be hidden away from the top of your dash and your dash would look clear and clean...
From past experience, having double sided tape on top of your dash over time exposed to direct sunlight and its UV rays can leave you in a sticky situation when trying to remove the tape adhesive melted on your dash, later down the track.
The GPS receiver is usually quite powerful so you won't have any problems with signal strength if you do choose to tuck it away.

could you put it on that little platform thing under the coinholder/ashtray if the unit is small? would it still pick up signals?
was thinking of getting the gps unit for my alpine or just go and get a portable garmin, slim gps
