Haha yeah true. The CRX isn't the cheapest car to own unfortunately. Most panels aren't easy to find and the JDM ones especially are expensive/rare.
Well lucky me. The actual body of the JDM is clean and straight. A good clean 2+2 with a ton of potential. And i'm a patient man. With a willing co-pilot.
im lookin into getting one of the old crx aswell for my next car, guys got any links of a list of stuff that will fit the crx pre del sol. also want to know if the aus civic ef engines are same as the crxs?

Well I only know 2 things about the CRX. JACK and SHIT....
Well, 3 things actually. Cause I know i've always liked them.
But thats part of why i'm here. To learn. Hopefully i'll learn before I make any silly mistakes which could devalue the build.
Which brings me back to my origonal post. Are there any MUST NOT's and any MUST DO's....

I thought all EF's were JDM only?
Anyways as I said earlier, best to come to www.crxaustralia.com for information/fun. Loads of resources there
I repaired a front CB Accord Aerodeck front bar that was quite badly damaged and distorted with careful use of a hot air paint stripper gun (Bosch 630 DCE) which is variable from 50c to 400c. (Think I set it at 280c)You can get attachments to do plastic welding as well with that gun but I just glued and reinforced it where necessary with alloy plates and f/glass and bogged it up. Looked as good as new (well almost if I'm honest).
Don't be tempted to buy a cheap gun. I did at first and when I used it my wife came running out to the shed asking me why all the lights in the house were dancing up and down. Took it back to Bunnings (was on special), they didn't believe me till they plugged it in at their lighting dept and made the whole department's display do the same. Very gratifying.
Best thing to do is go straight to www.crxaustralia.com. It's the best for CRX information, help and comradery.
Sign up and do your introduction post. After 3 posts you'll gain access to the full forum, and classified section a bit later.
HAHAHAH
no need to potch other members on here to other websites.

Once I get the turbo up and running in the Lude. I'm going to do a forged internal build.
Then i'll be upgrading the turbo on the Lude so I can push more boost.
That will give me a spair turbo. And a CRX.... Do the math dude..... LOL
