Light for radio system

Hi guys, go through the thread but didn't saw anyone asking about the similar question ( might b missed). Bought a 03 Honda accord euro recently. And found that the radio system didn't have the lights on at day/ night times. All words can b saw. Does anyone has these problems and how can it b solved. Will it b the fue of it burnt or????

Yeah if the radio and a/c still work but the buttons and screen don't light up then it's a known issue. If your car is less than 7 years old from the date of purchase, take it to a Honda dealer and they will sort it out for you, their is a bulletin from panasonic about it. If its outside of the time period then youll need to look around at wreckers for a replacement headunit. They are around $350 - $450. for one. I looked around for one last month and they are plentiful
