I think black and white are the two most popular colours.... so 1 month wait is quite normal......

My Silver Vti-S was a cancelled order (bcos the lady who bought it couldnt get a loan approved) so I bought it and picked it up within a week. Back then, there were about 6/7 Vti-S left in NSW otherwise there was a three month wait due to the ship not arriving yet. This was in March 2003. Rick Damelian Honda in Sydney had 4 Vti-S in stock and were NOT willing to discount at all, saying due to no supply and lots of demand, they would not even reduce by $5.

So I was desperate to get one, so I rang all the dealer in Sydney, and lucky I found this car @ Tynans, so I bought and picked it up. They told me, I can save $600 if I wait 3months for new shipment, but I didnt want, so I paid the extra and drive away within a week.

1month is what they will tell you the first time....

If you're unlucky like me, they'll keep telling you, "Oh sorry, next week".

Ended up taking over 2months to get my car. I was certainly not impressed at the time.

I rather pay the $600 instead of waiting for 3 months.....
All the excitment about getting a new car will be gone after 3 months I reckon.

By the way, how much did you pay for ur vti-s nike??

Despite my wait was way overdue but i was happy to get a 05built jazz.

Initially, i was suppose to get a jazz built in the late 04 and 05 compliant plate.

Since it was delayed so long, i guess they have no more late 04 built jazz.

I noticed the dealers at rick dal honda can be quite sneaky and i'm pretty sure it's not because they lack the knowledge but to play around with the customers. Initially they showed me a jazz which he claimed to be built in 05 and so he showed me by lifting the bonnet and pointing at a plate mentioned something 2005 stuck on the right side . Then i pointed to him at a plate near the radiator and it clearly said "Built in Sept 2004".

With situations like this, the dealer doesn't look much face as all he could say, 'oh sorry, my mistake, yes it is built in 2004'.

The wait can be normal if the car you after is not in stock or available at another dealer...

I wouldn't worry about it too much at all.

Welcome to the wonderful world of the Jazz by the way!

That's quite a good deal, considering Honda's seat covers cost 250 for the pair.

I paid 22.5k for carpet and window visors.
