You use what is called a 'test pipe'. This replaces the Cat converter. Very illegal to run a test pipe on the streets.

I think his asking how to go from 2.5'' to 3 inch'' piping.

Exhaust shop is your best option. They will probably stretch the metal piping then weld on a 3'' flange to fit the 3'' exhaust system

They call it a reducer, similar to silicon hoses " a piece of pipe that that reduces 3" to 2.5"

why do you want to run a test pipe anyway? you will gain dick all power, ur car will smell like shit and the exhaust gases will annoy people behind/around you... and then you will be annoyed when you get EPA'd by someone that can tell u've removed the cat.

    1. Running without a cat is what I'm referring to.
    2. Edited my post so you can comprehend simple English.. and don't start on incorrect grammar.
    3. I got EPA'd after being pulled over... had a GT5533r - stand next to an aeroplane and you will hear a similar sound.
    4. I was just looking out for you here... Cons outweigh pro's, maybe you would realize if you inhaled less carbon monoxide... but have fun with your 0.2hp gain
    5. Hopefully you get EPA'd and learn the hard way

i sense much hate and aggression in your posts. you had obviously failed back then with your turbocharging and what not, and now you've bombed my thread with useless posts about your life fails that do not contribute to anything.

thanks mate, youre a champ. have a good one.

no exhaust shop would willingly would make or allow a car with a test-pipe or no cat , run on the street.

IF you told them its for a track only car....they would. But the onus is on YOU. You cant blame the exhuast shop when the police fine you or EPA fines you for not having a cat.
