    on the hunt for my first ep3r

    Hey guys.
    Having just finished my year 12 vce i am finally on the verge of buying my first ctr ep3r.
    at the moment i have looked up many dealers on the net, such as ssv (oakliegh), GTA imports (west melbourne), JSA (bell st), edward lees (in syd), top secrete (bankstown syd) and prestige (perth).r

    Yesterday I went down to ssv and had a look at the white ep3 with the mugen front grill they had in stock. the salesmen was very nice not pushy at all and sounded like he know his stuff. the ep3 was also in good condition body wise and engine wise. 62000k's, 21k drive away.

    However afterwards i also went and check out the ep3 at GTA imports. at first when i walked in I was very impressed with the showroom set up, but was a little suspicious with the salesmens cause they all looked like they were part of the mafia or something. but then there was a chinese salesmen who came and offered assistance. he was really nice and helpful. gave me a good deal also. the ep3 had done 52000k's and was going for 27k, but the guy said he could do it for $215000. the ep3's condition was immaculate, there wasnt a single scratch or stain on the vehicle, and he told me to come back anytime for a test drive.

    anyways i just want to ask; has anyone ever dealt with GTA imports on spencer street or know of anything to look out for when buying from them? its hard to find info on them on other forums... but they seem genuine as i also saw Ferraris and Lamborghinis for sale and the showroom was quite prestige.
    i know that SSV have very good reputation, but their ep3 didnt look was clean as the one at GTA.

    Cheers
    Hung

    hey Emre_2144
    There both 2002 pre face lift models.
    the one at ssv had an aftermarket exhaust, CAI and the mugen front grill.
    the one at GTA was bone stock except for the exhaust.

    Do you know much about GTA?

    Nah man im from sydney don't know those shops but i'm buying an 05 ep3 from International Motor Group in sydney. Bit of a typo in your post is the one at GTA 25k or 21.5k? 25 would be too much for an 02.

    i doubt you can find an auction sheet after the auction, especially so long afterwards.
    GD3 -> EP3 -> RB3

    FS Rays nuts etc

    If your going to be the first owner of the EP3 from JDM land I'm sure they will still have the papers unless the car was in bad condition, import over and fixed it which will be still cheaper for the dealer.
