I have Conti Sports Contact 2 with my soon to be gone Golf118TSI, it's softer than the OEM RE040 because of the sidewall only has 1 layer, but it's still very grippy yet comfy.

Low quality tyres may be comfy but you'd never want to have over-spirited drive on the RNP roads.
