nd the car is used on a circuit track 90% of the time it is being raced, but we do attend drags now and then.. theres nothing wrong with putting a few v8s to shame down the quarter mile
-
200kw? well you better start sourcing out a turbo kit, cause your not going to reach that with a B non-turbo

you go and buy every single part out of the JUN catalogue.
Then you go and buy a 1000hp Turbonetics turbo, a Full Race exhaust manifold, and get a custom intake manifold made up
Then you get an ECU, maybe like a Hondata, and get it tuned, you should be able to pull at least 900Hp at the front wheels
Then, to top it off, you get yourself a Nitrous kit. Maybe like a 200Hp shot.
Then youll beat the s2k.
I mean, of course, this will probably all cost you upwards of 100 thousand dollars, once you factor all the supporting mods in, like the fuel system, as well as tyres that can put that sort of power to the ground, etc etc etc.
good advice

yeah you wont be getting 200kw atw on a NA setup especially if you dont want to be spending amounts near a kswap.
boost the car with a TO4Z and u will be seeing flying colours at 10psi.

8seconds all day long, all u need is a budget of $250000 lol
To make the most of 1000hp fwd, u need a pretty dam good chasis to put the power down... Look at Bisimoto drag cars
Seriously, only way to make such power figures in a n/a, is $$$$$... unless u got that, walk away, turbo is the only way in terms of making power, OR to be different super charger,
Iev seen few B18's make easily 180 - 250kw turbo conversion

yeah 200kwatw will be good to see from a b series but i dont see it happening.. turbo it , 'miss R' had lyk 199kwatw and thats from a stroked k20 n/a

Hm. An S2k is always going to have one-up on a Type R. It's like taking a Silvia and trying to beat a GT-R... You CAN, but it's going to take a lot of money and effort, and then he can always go further with it than you can. The Type R is a car that, I believe, is an example of a vehicle that is best left stock and enjoyed. At the end of the day, it's never going to be RWD or AWD, and unless you engine swap or turbo, it'll always be punching above its weight.
If he was driving a Celica or something...

The difference between a Type R and a S2000 is definitely not the same as a Silvia and GTR....
Quite a bad comparison there... Sorry

Bet you guys are a bunch of kids with alot of disposable income and big egos trying to out-do each other but have never used your capable machines (stock) on a race track before. Money can and will buy you speed but won't get you talent. Practice makes perfect.

200KW? only way to get 200kw from a B series is a turbo, you might not know this but S2000 are pretty average when it comes to the 1/4 mile, its alot hard to launch a RWD than a FWD
At the end of the day, it comes down to experience on whether you guys have been to the strip or not, if you guys havent, be prepared to have a slow time for the both of you.
I managed to get a 13.9 with I/H/E with semis, but that did take alot practice before reaching that time
