check ur driveshafts 1st as they are the main signs of wear and tear that you are experiencing.
if this is not the case then doing a fresh rebuild is the best option
thats wat im currently doing. just replace everything and dont worry about it again. i no this sounds a bit pricey but its the best way. stops you from still worrying about the stock faults.
i get a lot of whinding from the rear diff and at very low speeds if i get on the clutch n off, i can hear my whole diff trying 2 lock and unlock. it gets really annoying sometimes
i just purchased a 4.44 mazda speed gear set off s2ki from a puddymod supplier literally 1 hour ago lol
next im ordering a j's crush collar, kaaz 1.5 way LSD and new bearings. after labour its costing me just under $3000 and its going to be MUCH stronger then stock, as long as its put together correctly.

Keep in mind you aren't doing the major thing that affects the strength of a diff. Beefing up the end caps.

yea i would love to do the comptech diff housing but im confused on where to purchase it from and it sounds like a real headache.
    i didnt no the 4.44s r weaker :S
the 4.44s im purchasing have been cryo treated aswell so i think that should help a bit with the durability

In theory yea more teeth = weaker but then mine havn't broken soo far lol *knocks on wood, but I've been lucky with my diff for 3 years lol.
Just keep in mind that once the 4.44's are in and the kaaz 1.5way you'll have alot of sound coming from the rear with the whine and the lsd clunks, but at least u can do mini burnouts when your parking lol
