    3M painters tape - to protect the car paint. which one?

    hey guys

    urgent question. Im gonna be driving my new car to sydney from melbourne. I dont have one of those car bras so i want to buy some tape to protect the paint etc from stones, debris and bugs.

    which one do i buy? im on the 3M website and there is so many to choose from. i'll go to bunnings when i know which one it is.

    is it blue or green tape? ive seen some ppl use green whereas others use blue...

    i need to do it tonight or tmr. leaving tuesday morning!

    Green or blue, either of those will work being painter's tape (no residue after removal).

    I use the blue. There are two types of blue, the regular one and the delicate. The delicate one can be applied for a very long time without leave any residue, but the adhesive might not be strong enough to survive the trip, so I recommend the regular blue.
