Planning to make some led interior and exterior lighting linked to the dome light wiring. possibly puddle lights etc that turn on under the door handles when you hit the unlock button.

    Something like this pic

    Has anyone done this?

Courtesy lights are definitely doable - but would mean taking the door cards off i think.

If i had it my way when you unlock the doors, the tail lights, courtesy lights, DRL's and door lights would come on. When you turn the engine on, they would all turn off, except the DRLs and the tail lights.

That's a big few jobs though.

    1. Running DRLs (Can be done from running trigger wires from the radio power wire or accessories, and from the courtesy lights, and a relay to switch between them both.
2.Tail lights run from the same circuit as the DRL's
    3. Courtesy lights off the door light trigger wire.

I think it would be worth it though - definitely at night!

Yes $130 for 4. $65 for front pair and $65 for rear pair. Not sure about colour though. i'm pretty sure they're only the standard black colour... I didn't ask about colour. I'm only after plain black anyway

yeah.. and it doesnt even include the cost of labour. ill just have to book it into a garage to have a thorough look as to which specific mount/s need replacing, so i dont have to spend as much. im sure i wont need all of them to be replaced.
