This happened to me and my old yellow civic ek..

I done a few mods here and there and had an unfortnate accident..

Then a few months later I was looking for another yellow civic however to my surprise a civic caught my eye..it looked so similar to
My non-repairable write off and somehow had the same coilovers and custom air intake which I let go with the car etc...

The car was being sold for a whopping $8000 which is hella crazy for a cxi lol in the end I spoke to the owner and found out the car had been sold to him few weeks back and he was unaware of the vehicles status etc to confirm with him that it was old my car I mentioned all of the current mods which I installed ...

Funniest shit out is that the next week he was trying to sell it for 8k

happened to me as well when i was 20, written off Dc2 - i was in hospital with life threatening injuries when all the insurance shit went through so i couldnt organise any of it

gave my mum a list of stuff to grab off the car but all she got was the subwoofer out of the boot, my phone and my wallet =/

car was sold to a wrecker who stripped it for parts and than crushed it - at least i got most of my money back through insurance tho

it will never replace the hours, blood, sweat and tears thats gone into it, and now i have a permanent disability

all because some hoon bogan in a ford 1 tonner was doing burnouts in the middle of a highway =/

Holy f**king sh1t! I already hated bogan drivers in holdens and fords, utes, v8's and that sort of stereotype, but now I hate them so much more. I'm so sorry to hear about that man.

yeah i have issues and i need a box of tissues, you got a problem? how old are you to be making comments like these? the best and easiest way to describe a car enthusiast is that they treat their cars like human beings so when they lose their car its like losing a human being because you get attached to it...bit over the top, but people can relate to it, unlike you because you obviously dont know how it feels because you probably got spoon fed your whole life and havent experienced anything for yourself yet...i dare you to say that to my face instead of hiding behind a computer monitor while someone spoon feeds you..i posted this thread to help others out incase they look here for advice so they dont go out purchasing a lemon what i lost and what im entitled to or not is none of your business so stay out of it?
