height adjustable coilover peice and springs for eg?

    hey all

Iv been thinking about lowering my civic and was considering getting lowered springs as coilovers are out of my budget and i happened to cross these on ebay just wondering if anyone has used them and would care to shed some light on the relyability and effectiveness of them

No, just get King Springs if you only want it lowered. New for $240, $400 installed or second hand for $150 or so.

Suspension is something that you REALLY shouldn't cheap out on, which I once tried to do. Ended up wasting $1000 trying to do a cheap upgrade and ended up buying Bilstein coilovers and DC2R LCA's because I was sick of messing around with no result...

Yea but with these I would be able to make it as low or as high as I want. Do they look feasible?

unless theyre well known branded coil-over springs, than dont touch em, my mate had em on his eg, crap as, too stiff, an when the car was jacked up the springs fell off there seats, scary stuff if he been driving it an that happened!

An also, if u lower it to the point where the tires touch ur guards, u can pretty much guarantee that the car will bottom out every time u go over a bump, the shockers would b dead the day u put em coilover springs on

An yea, as Dougie said, Stick to lowered springs, or save up an get coil overs

I have some EG height-adjustable coilovers if you want, not stiff or expensive but I have somebody else interested so have to see how they decide...

i also got king springs as well they r pure shit. if ur looking at cheap dumpage just compress the stock springs.
also the ebay coilovers i got, it says 4" drop, doesnt even go low enough. it just tucks my rim under da guards even tho i have more room to go lower.

so best option is 2 save up for well known brand coilovers.
