seems like it does have to be programmed. i honestly cant believe it.. the key from what i remember was small as in the end black thing and solid i honestly doubt it had a chip and when i rang Honda they also said it had no chip..
the locksmith cut the key but wont start.. f%$!
when i bought the car gavin gave me spare one that it just looked an ordinary key nothing special and it worked on the car... maybe the locksmith did a shonky job?
strange thing is that the bag Gavin gave me its got 72235-s5s-e01 which is the right door. says on the site its for the left door, searched that on the site and its there but i cant find it... only ones there are these:

hey johno i just got one the other day from gavin.. couldnt stand my window rattling all the effing time and not being able to freely put my window up and down as i pleased haha so i guess the seal is up for grabs!
