What is this thing blocking my pod?

So i bought a brand new blox filter and couldn't wait to put it in. I got a 3" pipe from eBay as well to test dougie's theory if it does make a difference. As I was about to install I realised I got something pretty big on the left hand side where the filter goes. lol this is prob a hardcore n00b question but what is it? I know it makes kinda a buzzing noise sometimes when I start the car.

Can I take it out? If I can't, what can I do to get around it?? Thanks in advance.

1st pic shows the thing I'm talking about, it's next to the stock airbox

2nd pic shows how I can't fit the intake in...

thats just my guess with all the lines coming out of it, but im probably wrong.

have you tried following all the lines that come from it and see where they go/come from?

I've just did a quick google and you're 100% correct, that is my ABS module.

Damn it this sux! It means I'll have to cut my intake pipe or something to make my pod fit?

How do people even put pods in their cars with this ABS module?

Nah the intake pipe I got is actually for a Teg, but it seems as though it's made for non-ABS models...

Does anywhere know where I can get this pipe cut maybe?

which model EG has ABS? never seen that before lol

run the piping down the side of the chassis and than hook it into the front fendor
this is how the ABS Dc2 kits work - they dont go through the little hole under the airbox
they go down in front of the radiator - near the gearbox - than turn into the fendor so the pod faces straight out of the side of the car
search it up - it will be a good solution - and u can fit the piping in better that way

Are you talking about CAI or SRI Saint? Because this is for a SRI, and I don't really see how it can fit.... the blox pods are like MASSIVE

i cant really see how you are going to fit in an SRI without attracting some massive heat soak

the trick to fitting a big pod on a CAI is to take the bumper off, install the pipe work than put the pod on from the bumper side - not through the engine bay

    what engine is that btw?
