    the australian model Type-R got a down-tuned version of the Japanese unit

    the australian model Type-S got a much more aggressive exhaust cam and exhaust system - the problem with the type-s isnt the engine - its the weight of the more luxurious interior and softer suspension

    the JDM Type-R K20a puts out 160kw

    yea, i know abt the engine coding, but just dont know the abbreviation that u guys talking abt here, such as Z1 head......
    i know Civic sport is K20Z2.....so, we can put the K20Z1 engine into a Civic sport??

    well you dont really need to swap the whole engine - just the heads - the bottom end would be exactly the same

    but....does there enough space for the Z1 head to be fitted into a Civic Sport? i checked the picture of the Z1 engine, it looks huge~~ bigger than the K20Z2
    and...how much would that cost?

    i dont know what pics you have been looking at but they are exactly the same lol
    the chassis on the civic encloses the engine a bit more than the Dc5

    not sure on the cost - you would have to call around to see if you can find one

    I love the R18. Been driving a H22 now and i prefer the midrange torque it has.. (i know right, a honda with torque!)
