If your car is under warranty and you need to go to a dealer then you'll just have to take it.

All minor services are between 205-220 in Brisbane, those bunch of dealers are thick as theives me thinks.
    - just make sure they also do a diagnostics on the car for that price regardless whether theres problem or not, skip that 'Free' car wash if you have to.

I'm going to HondaCare at Sumner Park next week (minor service for $155, with ecu diagnostic) and i'll let all ya'll know how they are.

Not under warranty. I might give centrax a call as well (was reco to them when I was on the hunt for an EP3R) Unfortunately Sumner park is quite out of the way for me but you can still pm me to let me know how it went.

    *UPDATE* QLD/Brisbane

Had the car serviced at Honda Care at Sumner Park today, the place was flooded to the roof but he opened this week as soon as the river had fallen, they're working from a generator at the moment cause they've got no power. And their proper office and waiting room "melted" away from the floods so I was literately sitting in the workshop looking at them do their thing.

Got no complaints, at all, the 130k service for $155 (I got my own oil and filter so it only cost me $98)

The guys there really knows their Honda's and their VW's for that matter (to the point they point out the "hidden trick" Honda put on their power steering hose)... especially the owner Scott, who worked for Honda for over 10 years.

Funnily enough when I was there today, some guy who looks like he work for a Subaru dealer (from uniform) brought his car to him for servicing (?!?)

I had my Euro serviced at Astoria Honda in Bentleigh East 2 weeks ago.

Was very impressed, they changed the oil, used genuine Honda oils, replaced the oil filter, rotated the tyres, and washed the car,all for $236,which I thought was reasonable.

Car is going brilliantly, and only 10 percent of my tyres/brakes have been used.

Very happy with my purchase now...

Just a suggestion for all the guys thats going to dealers to get service.

ALWAYS ask what oil they'll be using... A lot of them use Castrol Magnetc or worse... Castrol GTX.
    Ask for Honda FEO Ultra...

They used to rotate and balance mine, until I change all to Bridgestone and I have free tire service (alignment & balancing) by them. Thus I ask the Honda SC not to touch the tires. Honda use the ugly clip on weights while bridgestone use the stick on type

I take my Honda to Absolute Car Care in Wooloongabba - the guys there are brilliant and have built up a loyal following of clients (repeat custom is the best judge of how good a mechanic is). They are usually booked out a week in advance!

Anyway they are Honda specialists and overall very good no bs mechanics. Totally honest about your car and what it does and doesn't need done to it. I took my CL9 there for its 80k service and it wound up costing ~$460 for the lot (cheapest in Brisbane by a long shot as it is an intensive service). They did a very comprehensive appraisal of its condition and didn't try to rip me off.

As an FYI they stock Honda Genuine Parts and Fluids for all their services.

Will continue to service my car there and would definitely go a fair bit out of my way to do so. So 10/10 from me.

Just throwing it out there too that if anyone is looking for the cheapest available servicing you should go to http://www.fixedpricecarservice.com.au/ and they will compare mechanics in your area on prices for a particular logbook service. Really handy!!
