Offset for some new DC5 wheels

Time to upgrade from stock and been browsing around a fair bit. Basically a 'flush' look would be nice, don't want them to look weak but I also don't want to be modifying anything for a wheel fit. Car is currently sitting at stock but I may lower it 1-2" in the near future.

Thoughts on ideal offset for DC5 wheels? How would I go with a 17x9 +35 or +42 offset? Thanks!

I have 18x9 +35 and 18x8 +38. fit perfect. Your camber settings are enough to ensure no scrubbing. I have my ce28n for sale dude! Pm me

PM'd So anywhere from +30 to +42 is fine you reckon? (without modding)

    Depends on tyre size too.

I'm currently on 16 inch stock so I'd need to buy new tyres for 17-18" rims anyway, no?

i had 17x9 +35 x2 17x8 +38 x2 on my dc5r before. Sat perfect, at the time the car was about 2" low from stock height. I had no problems with scrubbing and all the connecting parts were stock.
    Tyre sizes were 245(or 235 lol)/40/17 for the 9"s and 225/40/17 for the 8"s i think

Thanks for the replies! How would a +42 wheel sit you think?

How wide is this +42 wheel? A 17x9 with +42 offset will hit the rear trailing arm almost definitely, +35 should just clear. A 17x9 +35 fits nicely and is on the conservative side of "flush" but will require rolled guards at the rear. Is that something you want to avoid? If you want no guard modifications, no rubbing no issues at all then a 17x8 +35 at all four corners with a 225/45 would be a good choice.

I can only find the wheels I'm after in a 17 x 9 with a +35 offset, any issues with that? (Front + Back)
