RB1 3rd row motor and fog lights
Hi all
just trade in my RA6 with RB1 2007.
a few issues here :
1. when i tested the 3rd row seat folding motor, all good. arrive home tried 2-3 times, also good.
but after my little girl "play" with it, when i tried again, the right side (3rd row) cannot fold anymore.
but i still can hear the motor runs, but only the seat won't drop/fold. if i push with my little finger, just little bit, it will drop/fold. my fren said, it's the hook only. some said, the motor nearly "out"
any advise ?
2. a. is there any fog light for rb1 ?
b. aftermarket ones ?
c. and where to install ? couldn't see any spare space ?
cheers

You can buy from dealer or look on ebay. There's one from ebay AU but it's for 04-06 model last time i checked or you can buy from Yahoo auction Japan. Maybe AusAccord and Evolution can give pictures of their foglights. It's not hard to install i think.

Can't help with issue one. Mine's pretty much up all the time.
Do you really need the fog lights? I've only switched them on like a handful of times.
If you DIY be prepared to do this

DMX I have foglight instructions in english. PM me your email or you can come get a copy if you're in Melb. I got the harness (ie, wiring, fuse, switch, standard bezel, etc) for $260. You will need to spend almost another $260+ on the actual lamp housing. Take the instructions and DIY yourself or take it to some random workshop. If you get the dealer to fix they will charge some stupid price like $300 just for labour if i remember.
THis is ebay aftermarket. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Honda-Odyssey...item5889443394. You could probably use the lamp from the Ebay foglights ($115) and get the harness from Honda Access ($260).

thanks guys for your reply.
AusAccord : what ? urs missing the button ? ..lol..worse than mine
evolution : yeah, i already got used driving with fog light,
well...(if fog light = yellow cover/light), i have to say, not fog light then, but under bumper light :-)
btw, love ur jbt. had one before but sold them :-(
mobil1 : pm sent :-)
thanks

haha yeah, was asked Honda to remove the button, seats motor, heated seats, curtain airbags, auto-lighting and sunroof on mine in order to save weight.....
-
^^^ that's a long way to say you bought the standard model
DMX: what car was it on and why did you sell the BBK?

JBT is good enough for daily driving on the Odyssey. Stops alot better than OEM brakes.
Can't see the pics. But the eBay one is for the pre FL version which is cut into the bumpers. So I am not sure if you can use it on a FL verson mounting points may be different

re-submit the pics :
blue pic : fog on bumper
white pic : (left pic only) fog on airdam grille
so can i fit ebay fog into airdam grille ? (it's ok lah if only mounting problem )
update about 3rd row motor seat : my fren said, i might park my car slightly up on the road/driveway
so today, i tried on flat road, and it's works
even his rb3, if park on up the hill road, the seat won't fold.
