if done safely, like any performance orientated car, u shouldnt have any more service problems. Most i would do differently (i already chnage my oil every 5k) is let the car warm up and down more rigourisly with a turbo attached.
[TNT] Team No Traction - Cos No Traction Is Underrated

Two turbos, is better then one.

I saw a nice turbo civic at the runs!
    It was a 1.5L 1974 model i think!

That was a 10sec car, it just won over a 808 wagon with a 12a turbo!

I wish the owner put a turbo B18C engine in

turbo timers are illegal because it's illegal to leave your car unattended with the motor running. if you sit in your car with the turbo timer running, you might as well time it with your watch and turn it off manually.

    Sorry to hijack thread.
But i'm also looking to have a turbo kit fitted next month.

Since everyone is saying the avo turbo kit is crap can anyone recommend any other workshops that can do something at a similar cost? and what if u used the avo turbo kit and changed a few parts to make it better?

I agree with coolies ... all I hear is bad sh1t about the AVO stuff and frankly I aint gonna spend a few k just to see my car go to crap.

so ... anyone know any good installers? btw ... anyone here installed the Apexi or Greddy kit for Civics? what do u think of em (waste of money or good or what)

IMHO why turbo a civic? enjoy for what it is if you want turbo theres no excuse not to get something boosted here; we got a lovely selection of FACTORY boosted cars

If you are in melbourne ACS engineering and blkcrx both have quite a bit of experience with turboing hondas. allothough it's unlikely they will do 5k setups for you (that price is scraping the bottom of the barrel) you are looking at more like 6-8k i believe.
