well when you were welding it up, you should have lined up ur fenders and bonnett first....

Correct

use bonnet pin

If he uses bonnet pins to hold it down and gives it a hard gear change you can almost say goodbye to CF bonnet.

Your panel beater probably didn't line it up with the bonnet and thus welded it too low.
