Hey guys, my father and I recently purchased a new 2010 fd1 facelifted civic. I read a few pages back the mugen type R lip will not fit on the facelifted fd civic becuase of the wide guards? Is there a way to retro-fit them on to the new civic? I've seen on this youtube video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGAK9JergmU @ 4:14 a facelifted fd with a really nice lip. Is that the J's racing lip or the mugen Type R lip ? Will the J's racing lip fit the fd facelifted civic, since the front bar is reminicient of the fd2 type R?
What other lips are availiable for the new civic and where abouts in Melbourne can I purchase lips. i've heard great reviews of OTR clayton. Do they stock both the Mugen Type R lip and the J's racing lip?

Thanks aero.. I was asking the same question when I saw it fitted..
I'll see if I can bend it a bit..
What was the reason you're getting a yellow slip?

protruding wheels + ride height. little rolly wheel thingy couldnt make it all the way through. cant remember what it was hitting.. oil pan? dunno.
anyway. if i adjust everything so it all complies, the car wont look like what i want it to. so may as well just sell up and upgrade to a turbo or something faster.

I have to agree with Stig on that.. I have a mate who owns an Evo 8 and he just spent $750 to fit a new clutch and NO..... that doesn't include the clutch, $750 only to fit the clutch..
I think I will stick with Hondas for my next car...
The new 2012 civic Si coupe looks sick..

we wont be getting the Si coupe. that's just for the US market. they always get coupes on civics and accords
we'll probably get a shittier version of the Si sedan, which will be badged as the new civic sport lol

LOL bad, getting a new clutch is like 1.2-2.7k, fitting is like 800, if you're fly wheel is warped then you need it machined and its like another 700, and clutches go like no tomorrow
you can't even drive it that fast daily cos it just uses too much fuel, so you granny it (even using vtec at every corner would be more economical than boost, you actually see your fuel gauge moving in an evo!)
major service is like 800, if you need your water pumped replaced thats like 1500 all up
insurance is high,
brakes, tyres wear out faster cos you drive like a maniac
but you get so much attention though haha
gonna save up for an ep3 next year as a daily
