    bad man!!!!
    finally you got one!
    pics?
just remember the b18c2 intake manifold (IM) is upside down to the rest of the b series. it points down instead of up...pain in the arse tbh!
a buddyclub vtec controller can get you down to 5k rpm.....or look into a apexi afc neo vtec/air/fuel ratio controller.
good to hear you ended up going down the honda path instead of the toyota levin path

B18c2 VTEC crossover is actually 4400rpm. Your just hearing the secondary butterflies opening up at 6000.

Skunk2 manifold is a great mod, I've done it myself.

But 74mm throttle body?? That's way over the top mate. Stick to an oem DC2R 65mm tb. Don't go bigger than Skunk2's 68mm tb. It's way too overkill.

only problem is the ****er didnt tell me it had been in a smash and seens i picked it up for 3800 instead of 5500 i thought i had done alright.

on that, should i get a new solenoid to get the vtec opening up abit louder? it seems to be reasonably soft as apposed to other vtecs ive driven (sam ive never been more cut i didnt get that black one i was lookin at for 8500, nothing compares to it that ive looked at or now bought lol)

    Well I'm glad

Am I'm sure youve read a million times, B18's don't have a very loud crossover like a B16.

The quieter the crossover the better

    ^yes!
so many people expect b16 like crossover with any vtec engine. Personally i think b18 crossover is just as good as a b16 crossover. with a b16 its loud and sounds great whereas a b18 is deep and sounds like a roar lol, i really cant get over both. id be happy with either one

**** commies seriously. last night i pulled away from a VZ S pack ute, alloytec 3.6L 179Kw at the fly, typically 145kw at the wheels. Honda FTW and im not just talking in first gear, this was along 5 islands road from start to before i decided to give it a rest. they are weak
