Most people claim about 20-30kw gains with cams on the k20a3 engine. The same cams will Fit my engine so hopefully works out =]. Should I get the recommended valve springs and retainers though?

paying a shop $200 to install and lower is great piece of mind
When installing front shocks, hold the driveshafts in place, if not they will pop out.. not fun.

Wouldn't have a clue dude. Do the cames generate extra lift? Then they obviously will stress the springs more...

is the k20z2 an interference engine?

20-30 kw is crazy :S Let us know how u go anyway

I've got lowering sprigns in at the moment, Didnt have a problem with the driveshafts before, i just rested the front discs on a spare axle stand to stop them from drooping too low and popping out.

mine popped out on one side when i was installing my coils for the 1st time. took like 30mins to find the correct position to put back in.
but yeah it doesnt really take that long to switch the suspension if u have the correct tools. i used this DIY from the 8th gen forums as a guide.

Fitted Cusco front and rear sway bars yesterday..

It completely transforms the way the car handle corners, recommended mods..!!
It doesn't change the ride at all, but when I go around corners or changing lanes at highway speed I can feel that the car is more flat, very minimal body roll..
