FD2 bonnet lining - piece missing?

Hi guys,

I have a 2009 FD2 sport sedan. WHen you open the bonnet, it has the liner.

My car was purchased with a bonnet protector, and I have since taken it off.

Does anyone know if there is another piece which runs along the front lip (inside) the bonnet?

It looks like it is missing a piece as it had to be removed to fit the bonnet protector.

I have posted a pic so you know what I am talking about.

If you can post a pic of your Civic Sport with a phot of the bonnet trim I would appreciate it.

I think there isn't anything there. I don't recall any on mine.

theres nothing there, those holes are used to hold the bonnet protector,
