    Odometer stoped working

    Hi Hondies

    I just bought an EK yesterday and odometer does not work. Can anyone advise how to fix this.
    All the other functions like speedometer, Fuel work but just the odometer is not working

    easiest way is to get a new cluster. Happened to a mate he just bought a new one and it worked fine

    you can take out ur cluster n send it a cluster place so they can fix it, it most likey the gears for the odometer r worn. it would normally cost bout $150 mark but not really sure

    yeah its usually a little plastic cog. Its a $30 part but its a bitch to do so if you get someone to do it for you they will charge pretty high. Had to do it on my n14.

    Did you get a RWC, and didn't this concern you when you test drove the car? Just swap cluster as advised, it's just an EK cluster anyway not a Mugen ITR one

    how is swapping the cluster going to help? It will have a different odometer reading on it so its just as useless as having one that doesnt work

    Theory is that the odometer works. Otherwise get the existing one repaired. Anyhow, I think the question has been answered!

    If he is not to fussed with a different reading and just wants one that works so he can keep track of the K's his done till his next service it wouldn't be useless would it.
