hi mate, found it in the end basically you have to remove everything required for a normal non "nav" unit and .... now with the nav unit take it out (basically half way) so you can reach in the back ....
you also have to remove the air con vents also and top piece of the dash..

took a bit of fiddlign around but got the job done in the end.

very happy with bluetooth and ipod ... give the usb a try in the morning

No, only CDC and a track number that goes from 1-99 and keeps repeating itself......

doesnt mind me however have a quick look at the iphone if you dont know what song is playing :P

Believe me its a bludy good kit and im amazed i finally got an ipod usb and bluetooth connection in this car instead of having to wait for a (cu2) :P

It does take a few hours to install if you have a sat nav but its pretty simple !

highly recommended . It uses the original buttons on the stereo and steering wheel. It also has bluetooth streaming so i dont even have to plug the iphone adaptor in. Fully wireless !!!!!!!

Marked a bit of the interior though but otherwise a very clean install !

Bluetooth is a must with the xcarlink! It's awesome.. The persons voice comes through the speakers and they can always hear me no problem. A definite purchase!

How do you find the overall quality of bluetooth and also the sound playback quality?

If you play music through bluetooth, the sound quality isn't great. It sounds like radio quality. I have only used it a handful of times.

But in regards to answering calls, the sound is more than sufficient!
