not really into turboing or supercharging tbh lol dont want anything too crazy just a bit different.. and dont want huge maintenance/running costs either lol

Since ive thought about it this for my FD1 and this is the opinion i came down with.
let me know what you guys think and might still change my mind hehe

FD - nice car, very sexy but 2012 civic is due out very shortly, there are nicer cars out there (golf GTI, STI, EVO, MPS, A4, TT and the rest) so will FD still look nice after you're done with whatever your doing to it?

$$ - if it cost roughly from 15 - 20K with all the upgrade u want and better off putting, now that your fd value has just increased (FD1 ~ 40K FD2 ~ 50K) the value that you can never get back, now if u had 50K would u buy a FD2R, STI, GOLF GTI or a civic with an engine from another car with no warranty?

Maintenance - we all know and cant run from the facts that the more you touch the more you have to pay in the end. What happens when ur bored of you fd?u going to sell it with minimal loss?i dont think so, u going to loose all the money you put in a conversion labour, time and effort. say if you cbf to sell it privately, what are you going to get for a trade in? we all know to get a broader market the car is better off stock, you going to spend more money and time and effort on parting out?or just minimalizing you audience to a honda fans with $$?now what is the ratio for a honda fan with money and honda fan as a first car?

but the thought giving evos or v8s an expected suprise at the lights is priceless.

i would rather supercharge, if youre engine blows then k20 or k24 it

hurts too much to throw away a good working engine lol

ive always thought if i was gonna boost an engine i would supercharge it rather than turbo. no lag. better for everyday street.
