yeah i did, took me 3 hours, 2 hours were trying to get my FINAL nut off! i ended up shredding it up. i suggest using an 8mm spanner and NOT shredding the nuts! right light came off a dream, all 3 on the left came off perfect but then that 1 in the corner behind the car frame gave me HUGE troubles; ended up getting it off with the hugging bit of a 8mm, god i was happy. Used a hole cutting piece for the drill, bulb casings fit PERFECT, held together with high adhesive tape and did all the wiring in about 20 minutes for both, dont tape/shrink the wires in place until you test the light and make sure brake wire is to the cars brake wire and the park is to cars park, left one i had to switch around, took 30 seconds then i just electrical taped it all up firmly, put the rubber casing back on, screwed it back in and there i have ek9 lights for free!

    Sangyz,

You need pretty much every wiring from the ek9 to heater core to blower to get it working.

    weighed SR3 Recaros:

    18.7kg (with EK9 rails/sliders) - 4.0kg (guesstimate for rails/sliders) = 14.7kg approximate weight

will compare to stock EK1 seats when I remove

What wouldn't be that much? I just literally weighed them so unless my scales are out of whack for some reason I was 97kg holding SR3 seats & rails - my normal weight of 78.3kg = about 18.7kg

This thread also says something similar approx 20kg so much the muchness really:

They say they weigh the same as stock, so will be interesting to see what weights I get when I take mine out

Why are roof racks and sun visors on Civics in fashion now? They're the daggy accessory your mum always had on her wagon, but never used. It just seems as if guys got bored of tacking spoilers and bars onto their cars, and needed something more to stick onto their rides instead? Or is it a backlash against the supposedly cool but entirely non-functional spoilers and kits, which are replaced with ugly but functional accessories? Do people really find these things to be aesthetically pleasing, or are they really just blindly following some trend from another country?

I really just don't understand what the thinking is behind putting these things on your cars. Unless you're a surfer.

roofracks i can understand if you surf, ride a bike etc. Other than that tho... and what is it with mudflaps? Seriously, where do they think they're going to go with their 19 inch chrome rims and 4 inch lowered suspension... honestly.

    Well said Indie.

Mudflaps look great, they protect the side of your car if you are running more aggressive wheels than standard, and if you are serious in creating an 'OEM+' themed car they should definitely be on your list of things to do imo.
