Bedding in New Pads & Rotors

    Hey guys,
as title stated, got some new pads on the front and dimpled and slotted rotors for the front.. I fitted these just now, depressed the brake pedal so that it went firm and that well well..
Got rear slotted rotors going on the rear tomorrow...

Wondering how do i 'bed' these items in...
What the best way going about it..

Thank you for your constructive help

What pads are you talking about? Not all pads are the same, all pads have difference bedding-in procedures while some pads don't require breaking-in at all.

Quick google of "breaking in brake pads" would have gotten this link:
    http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/tech/....jsp?techid=85

Otherwise just take a look at the box the brake pads came in, or go to the manufacturer's website, they will usually have instructions for bedding in their pads/rotors.

make sure to properly bleed the whole braking set up, and clean the rotors to remove the protective oil/film from the factory
