17x7 might scrub a little at full lock depending on height.. get smaller profiles tyres if needed

They will be fine... but personal i wont go 17" on ek.... once u lower u may have trouble.
Ek's look better with 15" or 16"

7" and 40 offset should be fine. I had scrubbing at the rear when I cornered hard back when I was using 17x7 +35 and 215/40/17. So at +40 I think you'll be fine at the back for sure, roll if need be.

Front just don't dump it stupidly and you'll be right.

Shadowchrome looks awesome IMO. I hate chrome but my 17's were shadowchrome and looked great when they were cleaned.
